Welcome to Liguria and the Gaia e Levante B&B – situated at the gateway to the Cinque Terre
Our newly renovated B&B is located in the heart of Liguria, in the sunny village of Pian delle Rose in the Deiva Marina region. During your visit, you will get to know our beautiful, extensive garden with its abundance of sweet and spicy scents and its riot of Mediterranean colours. Relax and take a break from the hectic pace of everyday life amid the peace and tranquillity of olive and citrus trees. Our B&B has been classified with the highest level of quality, the ‘3 suns’.
The name of our B&B is Gaia e Levante. In Greek mythology, “Gaia” was the primordial Mother Earth, while “Levante” describes the breeze that gently blows from the east. In the evening, it gently caresses your skin while you admire the spectacular sunset.
Deiva Marina is geographically part of Liguria, a picturesque area along the Mediterranean coast. The area is known, among other things, as the gateway to the nearby Cinque Terre which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. You can also discover many other picturesque places in the area, and the best way to do this is on foot or by bike. Talking of biking: are you a fan of mountain roads with fantastic views of green hills and stretches of coastline? Here, you can bike to your heart’s content and discover Liguria from every direction.
We will pamper you every morning with a hearty breakfast with local products, just as our goddess Gaia, “Mother Earth”, would wish. Lunch and dinner are available in the region’s many restaurants. Liguria is known for its typically delicious Mediterranean cuisine. Enjoy the local specialties with a glass of spicy Ligurian white wine.
